I had a lovely stay at Solage, filled with relaxation and great amenities. The spa treatments were highlight moments, and I absolutely loved the geothermal pool. However, it was disappointing to find that the adult pool policy wasn't enforced as I expected, which affected my overall experience. Overall, the accommodations were modern and comfortable, making it a great getaway spot despite a few hiccups.

The spa and geothermal pool were relaxing, although the pool policy could use clearer enforcement.

5.8/10

I had high hopes for my stay, but it ended up being a major disappointment. While the rooms were lovely and private, the level of service just didn't meet expectations. The dining experience was overpriced and undersatisfying, which really overshadowed the nice facilities. Overall, it's a beautiful place, but for what I paid, I expected way more in terms of care and attention.

Rooms
8.0
The rooms were large, well-appointed, and offered a nice sense of privacy. They were clean and stocked with water, tea, and coffee, which I appreciated.
Service
5.0
Unfortunately, the service left a lot to be desired. A lack of attentiveness and responsiveness from the staff made our experience frustrating.
Location
7.0
The hotel is about a 15-minute walk from the center of town, which is a nice distance to keep it quiet and relaxing.
Dining
5.0
Dining was a letdown, with food costs feeling outrageously high for the quality provided. I ended up paying significantly more than expected without a satisfying experience.
Facilities
7.0
The facilities are beautiful and well-maintained, offering a lush garden and a pool area that are enjoyable, but again, the value for money just isn't quite there.

Staying at this resort was an exceptional experience. The serene atmosphere and beautiful grounds provided the perfect backdrop for relaxation. The service from the staff was impeccable, always attentive without being overbearing. While the dining at the main restaurant was fantastic, the location a bit secluded was an aspect to consider. Overall, the resort definitely offers great value for a luxurious getaway.

Rooms

Service throughout the resort was top-notch, with staff eager to assist and ensure everything was perfect for our stay. They really went above and beyond in every aspect.
Location
8.0
The location was lovely and had beautiful views of the Calistoga Hills, although it was a little out of the way, making the drive somewhat lengthy. Nonetheless, the ride through the valley was quite enjoyable.
Dining
9.0
Dining at the main restaurant was a highlight, with a phenomenal menu that gave us a different experience each night. The breakfast and lunch options by the poolside were also delightful.
Facilities
10.0
The facilities were excellent, featuring a large heated main pool for all ages and an adults-only spa bathhouse with multiple mineral pools, hot tubs, and a cold plunge. The new pickleball courts were also a fun addition!

I had an absolutely fantastic experience at this resort. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable, and the amenities were top-notch. The only downside was that we didn't get to try more dining options on-site because we were busy enjoying everything else. Overall, it was a great value for such luxury and service.

Rooms
9.0
The room was beautifully appointed with an open bathroom concept, spacious, and very comfortable. I especially loved the serene atmosphere and the view of the herb garden.
Service

Location

Located in Calistoga, the resort is perfectly situated for exploring local wineries. It was easy to get around, and we appreciated the proximity to everything.
Dining

We only got to experience the breakfast, which was beautifully plated and delicious. I wish we had more time to dine at the on-site restaurant.

My stay at Solage was truly memorable, highlighted by the spacious and comfortable rooms that felt like private retreats. The resort had many luxurious amenities, which made it feel special—especially the adults-only mineral pool. However, I did experience some minor hiccups with service and a few aspects of the dining experience that could be improved. Overall, it's a lovely choice for any trip to the area.

Rooms
8.0
The cottages are spacious and comfortable, giving off a luxurious vibe. However, some have road noise, which can be distracting.
Service
7.0
While the service was generally good, there were a few mix-ups during my spa treatment bookings that were frustrating at times.
Location
8.0
The resort is set in a tranquil area, but some cottages are closer to the highway than others, which could be a concern for noise.
Dining
7.0
The restaurant had a nice ambiance and good food, but the prices were a bit high for what’s offered, especially for simple items like toast.
Facilities
9.0
The resort offers a variety of high-quality facilities, including multiple pools and a fantastic relaxation area, which adds to the luxurious experience.
